How to Make Vegetable Quinoa Upma Recipe a Vegetarian Upma Recipe
This is a step by step by recipe guide on how to make quinoa upma. Quinoa is the most healthier food in the world. especially for vegetarian. Quinoa pronounced as Keen-Wa. Keen-Wa is a good source of complete protein and it is a vegetarian food. So it is good for vegetarian to get complete protein. You can eat quinoa at any time in breakfast, lunch, dinner. Quinoa upma is a good and easy breakfast recipe. It is best for those people who are looking for protein rich diet. This guide will teach you to cook quinoa with some vegetables.
Quinoa is my favorite food. I like it because it is very nutritious. It is a good source of protein with lots of vitamins and minerals. Let’s see how to make quinoa vegetable upma.
Quinoa Upma Recipe
- 1 Cup Quinoa Uncooked
- 1 Chooped Onion
- 1 Small Potato
- 1 Tomato
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 Chopped Ginger
- 2 Green Chilli
- 1/3 Cup Chopped Capsicum
- 1/2 Cup Carrot and Beans
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 6 Curry Leaves
- Cashew for Garnishing
First of all chop all vegetables
When all vegetables chopped than wash quinoa (Wash quinoa properly so that all soapy content removed)
Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, green chili, ginger and chopped onions, saute it or 3-4 minutes
Add all vegetables, Add water and cook it for 3-4 Minutes
Add tomato and capsicum. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Again add water and salt(As per your taste)
When you see that water is boiling then add quinoa and cover it and let it cook in low flame. Stir it in every 5 minutes so all portion will cook properly
After 15 minutes it will be ready Garnish it with cashews.
Serve it hot and eat it with your family and friends. A healthy food with lots of protein, vitamins and minerals.
